Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Booking details: name, phone, email, service address, ZIP, trash day, number and colors of bins, and notes such as gate codes.
• Payment details: payment method, amounts, and for Zelle the sender name, contact and reference number you give us. Card numbers are handled by Stripe — we never see or store them.
• Service records: route dates, which bins were washed, completion times, before and after photos of your bins, and tips.
• Reviews you choose to leave, and whether you allow us to show your name and neighborhood.
• Visit information: which page or flyer QR code brought you here, stored in your browser and with your booking, so we know which flyers work. We don't use advertising trackers.

How we use it

• To plan neighborhood routes and wash your bins.
• To send booking, route, "washing now", completion and payment emails, plus receipts.
• To match and verify payments and answer your questions.
• To show you your private progress page and photos.

We never sell your information

We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with advertisers. We share it only with the services that help us run the business: Stripe (card payments), our website hosting and database provider, and our email delivery provider — and only as needed to provide our service, or when required by law.

Photos and private links

Bin photos are stored privately. They appear only on your personal progress page and in your emails, through secure links that expire. Links we send you (progress, rebook, add bins, payment help) contain a private code — please don't share them publicly.

Public route tracker and reviews

Our public route pages show only neighborhoods, dates and route status — never addresses or crew location. Reviews show your first name and neighborhood only if you agree.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and payment records as long as needed to serve you and for tax and accounting purposes. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, except records we must keep by law.

Your California privacy rights

California residents may ask to know what personal information we have about them, to correct it, or to delete it, and will not be treated differently for asking. Email hello@trashbinwash.com from the email you booked with and we'll respond within 45 days.

Children

Our service is for adults booking for their home. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
